Celebrate GreenFest with Vancouver Urban Forestry on a bicycle tour of downtown Vancouver's Heritage Trees. Visit some of Vancouver's most celebrated trees on an enjoyable 9-mile guided bicycle ride. The flat, easy bicycle route begins and ends at the Water Resources Education Center, following the Columbia River, and winding through historic downtown Vancouver. Stop at eight locations to admire trees whose legacies connect all residents of Vancouver to the proud past of our community. Urban Forestry staff will discuss the historical and arboricultural significance of each tree.

Enjoy Oregon’s wilderness gems and old-growth forests this summer. The free and guided hikes, campouts and fishing trips start on June 21st and run through September 21st. Many outings will take groups to proposed wilderness in the Lewis and Clark Mount Hood Wilderness Area. We’ll provide participants an opportunity to learn more and take action in the campaign to protect Oregon’s wild places. Whether you are looking for a short family friendly hike, or a more rugged trek to an amazing vista or waterfall, we have a hike planned for you!
