In this two-day workshop we will focus our creative intentions to construct ceremonial prayer-rattles that will help your spirit take flight. We’ll use rawhide, synthetic sinew, glass beads, sticks, and any natural decorative objects you choose to add. We will use leather-working tools, such as awls, punches, scissors, needles and thread. Some tools provided. Leatherwork and sewing experience will helpful, but not required. Presenter Rick River-Wolf has considerable knowledge about the magic and medicine of traditional cultures, due to a life spent studying the wisdom of the past. He specializes in the archaeology of prehistoric hunter-gatherers.
